Junior RPA Engineer

Department: Information Technology (Consulting)
Location: San Diego, CA

The Marlin Alliance, Inc. is seeking a Junior RPA Engineer with UiPath/Power Automate experience to work in San Diego, CA. This position supports our Navy customer and requires the candidate to have the ability to possess or obtain a US Secret clearance.

Established in 2002, The Marlin Alliance is a woman-owned small business (WOSB) seeking to hire highly skilled individuals to support mission critical projects within the Navy. We are looking for motivated individuals to lead and support digital transformation, data science and analytics, and automation projects for variety of Navy clients. Individuals must be able to function in a fast-paced work environment and able to adapt quickly to rapidly changing requirements and technologies. Using your comprehensive knowledge of various technologies, you will design, develop, and implement solutions to support Navy mission owners in their digital transformation journey.

Responsibilities:

  • Learn and apply the UiPath Software Development Lifecycle to build, test, deliver, and run robotic automations
  • Collaborate with Software Engineers and Subject Matter Experts to identify automation opportunities and develop requirements
  • Learn to identify repetitive manual processes rule-based tasks across legacy and modern systems
  • Apply RPA best practices to automate repetitive processes into workflows using UiPath and Microsoft Power Automate
  • Ensure implementation of automations are in line with industry standards & best practices
  • Assess automation opportunities from a technical perspective and perform due diligence to arrive at optimal solutions
  • Support testing by implementing code reviews with peers to ensure compliance with requirements
  • Identify, report, and fix bugs throughout the software life cycle

Required Qualifications:

  • Strong problem-solving capability
  • Experience of working within an Agile, continuous integration environment
  • 1+ year of experience with PKI secured systems
  • 1+ year of experience with software development and lifecycles
  • Ability to obtain a DOD Secret clearance

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science
  • Experience with UiPath Studio and/or as a UiPath Citizen Developer academically or professionally
  • 1+ year of experience with Power Platform and/or Power Automate (Solutions, Flows, Connectors, Environments)
  • Experience with Cloud Environments
  • Experience with the Navy
