The Marlin Alliance is seeking a collaborative and experienced Science & Technology (S&T) Support Specialist to assist the PEO C4I S&T Lead in managing and advancing critical acquisition and engineering efforts. This individual must possess a strong acquisition background and have direct familiarity with the PEO C4I portfolio. The ideal candidate will bring technical understanding of DoD S&T initiatives and C4I engineering, coupled with a professional demeanor and ability to work well with diverse stakeholders. This position requires an active Top-Secret clearance and will be based in San Diego, CA.
Established in 2002, The Marlin Alliance delivers mission-critical consulting and digital transformation services to the Department of the Navy. We are seeking a polished, proactive individual to serve as a key enabler to senior Navy technical leadership.

Clearance: Active TS clearance required
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct support to the PEO C4I S&T Lead on acquisition-related tasks, including program planning, documentation, and coordination.
- Serve as a liaison between government stakeholders and industry/contractor teams to ensure alignment with S&T and acquisition goals.
- Track and support emerging S&T initiatives, projects, and portfolio priorities across PEO C4I.
- Support internal government team communications, meeting coordination, and knowledge transfer efforts.
- Assist with technical reviews and provide recommendations based on acquisition and engineering best practices.
- Maintain awareness of relevant S&T funding opportunities and partnerships (e.g., ONR, DARPA).
- Contribute to a positive team dynamic by bringing a professional, solution-oriented, and collegial approach.
Required:
- Active Top-Secret clearance.
- Strong acquisition background with demonstrated experience supporting DoD acquisition programs.
- Familiarity with the PEO C4I portfolio, including organizational structure and mission areas.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; able to work effectively with a range of personalities and stakeholders.
Preferred:
- Knowledge of DoD S&T programs, processes, and stakeholders (e.g., ONR, OUSD [RDT&E]).
- Background in C4I systems engineering or related technical disciplines.
- Prior experience with NAVWAR or PEO C4I is highly desirable.
Job Classification:
Associate II
$150,000 - $180,000 annually, depending on experience, education, and qualifications.
